Welcome to Carolinas BMW Motorcycle Owners Association
We are a club of motorcycle enthusiasts officially sanctioned by BMW Motorcycle Owners Association as number 220. The club was orginally founed in 1980 as a non-BMW club but has always been based in Charlotte, NC to serve members in NC, SC and elsewhere in the southeast region.
While we generally ride BMW motorcycles, all brands of motorcycles have always been represented and always welcomed!
Come Join Us!
We meet twice a month on second and fourth Sunday mornings, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am for breakfast at the Light Rail Restaurant, 8045 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC. We eat a hearty breakfast, kick tires, tell war stories and usually go for informal rides. This happens all year round, weather permitting. You don't need to be a member to join us for breakfast! Just show up!
We also get together for Tuesday night dinners at local restaurants. Our Activities Committee emails announce other special events like picnic rides to scenic spots in our area. Our email list and Yahoo Group helps us keep track of opportunities to ride with other groups and organizations also.
And for more than 30 years we have hosted the Annual Dan'l Boone Rally in Boone NC. This is a fun camping and riding event for the whole family.
